System requirements
- OS: Windows 10 (1809+) / Windows 11
- RAM: 8 GB minimum (16 GB recommended)
- Storage: ~200 MB core install; 1-3 GB for local ASR models (downloaded on demand)
- GPU (optional): NVIDIA GPU with 6 GB+ VRAM enables local Whisper acceleration. Without GPU you can use cloud APIs.
- Network: First launch downloads ~100 MB of core dependencies

After install
- Launch CrossMeet (first run downloads core deps, ~1-2 minutes)
- Paste license key in Settings → Licensing to activate
- Pick ASR / TTS / translation engines (cloud APIs work out-of-the-box; local engines have one-click installers)
- Start your first translation session
